5 Healthy Breakfast Smoothies
Breakfast Smoothies are my favorite in the morning. So refreshing, easy to make for a busy morning. Smoothies can provide protein, fiber and other essential nutrients and minerals.
We can use the combination of fresh and frozen fruit for these recipes. These smoothie recipes are filling and also provide, protein, fiber and energy.
I use frozen fruit for my smoothie, it makes my morning routine easy and also frozen fruit have all the nutrition needed in them. Study shows frozen fruit retain a better vitamin and mineral than the fresh fruit.
Here are some great breakfast smoothie ideas:
The first one is Mango, Spinach Smoothie
These are the ingredients we need for this smoothie
1/2 cup of almond milk or any milk of your choice
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or plant based yogurt
1/2 cup frozen mango
1/2 cup spinach
1 tsp Chia seed
1 tsp maple syrup or honey or use dates (2-3 dates)
Add the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and enjoy
The second smoothie is banana berry smoothie:
Here are the ingredients needed for this smoothie
1 cup frozen berries
1 small banana
1 cup almond milk or any milk or liquid of your choice
1 spoon protein powder. ( I used organic vegan protein powder)
Add all the ingredients one by one and blend until smooth and enjoy
The third smoothie is mango avocado spinach smoothie
Here are the ingredients I used for this
1/2 cup of frozen mango
1/2 Avocado
1/2 cup spinach
2 tsp of honey
1/2 cup almond milk or any milk of your choice
1/2 cup water if needed
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and enjoy.
The fourth smoothie is mixed fruit banana smoothie.
Here are the ingredients I used for this smoothie
1/2 cup mixed frozen fruit (pineapple, strawberries, mangoes)
1 small banana
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
The fifth smoothie is Mango banana smoothie.
Here are the ingredients I used for this smoothie
1 cup frozen manago
1 small banana
1/2 cup Almond milk
1/2 cup yogurt (optional)
2 tsp honey
Add the ingredients to a a blender and blend until smooth.
