Creamy Hummus

This Hummus is tastier than the one that we buy from the store and also easy to make.

I make this hummus pretty much every other day. The best part of making this hummus is that it only needs few ingredients. The ingredients I am using are also clean and you would not feel bad eating it. Why buy a tub of hummus from the store when we can make it at home without all the unnecessary ingredients?? Fresh, Healthy and yummy.


If you are not familiar with hummus. It is a delicious dip made from; chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper and extra virgin olive oil. Doesn't this sound tasty already.


Also taking the skin off the chickpeas is the secret for creamy hummus.


To make hummus you will need the following ingredients.

1 can chickpeas

1 lemon juice

1/4 cup of extra olive oil

2 tbs water

salt and pepper

2 cloves of garlic


In a blender put chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic cloves, salt and pepper and water and start blending. While blending slowly pour the oil.

Blend until you get creamy hummus.

Enjoy with warm flat bread, fresh or roasted veggie, or chips.
